AI meeting summary
An AI meeting summary is a short written overview of a meeting, generated automatically by a language model from the meeting's transcript.
What it means
Reading a full transcript takes almost as long as the meeting did. A summary condenses it into the parts that matter: the key points, the decisions, the action items. It is only as good as the transcript it is built from, so accurate transcription comes first.
Summaries can be generated in the cloud or on your own machine. A cloud summary means the transcript leaves your computer. A local summary keeps it where it is.
How this relates to Autorec
After transcribing a recording, Autorec can generate a summary so you get the gist without replaying the call or reading the whole transcript. Because the transcript stays on your disk, the content of a private meeting is not sent to a third party.
