Video Library

The Video Library is your hub for all recorded meetings. It is the first screen of the autorec window; click the tray icon to open it.

Views

Card View

The default view shows recordings as cards with:

  • Auto-generated thumbnail
  • Recording title (AI-generated if configured, or filename)
  • AI summary, if there is one
  • Duration and file size
  • A badge when a transcript exists

Table View

Switch to table view for a compact list with sortable columns:

  • Title
  • Duration
  • Date recorded
  • File size
  • Transcript
  • Running task

Click any column header to sort.

Use the search bar at the top of the library to find recordings by title or summary. Search is instant and filters results as you type.

Playback

Click any recording to open the video detail view:

  • Embedded video player with standard controls (play, pause, seek, volume)
  • Transcript panel alongside the video (if transcription is available)
  • Editable title and summary below the player
  • Metadata: date, duration, file size

Transcript Viewer

When a recording has been transcribed, the transcript panel shows:

  • Full transcript text with timestamps
  • Click any timestamp to jump to that point in the video
  • Edit transcripts inline — click the edit button, make changes, and save

Managing Recordings

From the video detail view, you can:

  • Trim — remove dead time from the start and end
  • Compress — re-encode to a chosen fraction of the original size (50%, 25%, 10% or custom). Smaller means lower quality.
  • Delete — remove the recording and its associated files

In the library itself, select two or more recordings to Merge them into one file, or to transcribe, summarize or delete them in one go.

Trim, compress and merge operations are queued in the Processing Queue and run in the background.
